Modern-day consumers are paying more attention to the sourcing practices of apparel and accessories they buy. When it comes to leather products in direct contact with skin, such as gloves, consumers want reliable confirmation that their products are safe, and have been manufactured with the use of sustainable and environmentally sound practices.
The SafeGlove/SafeGlove+ program was designed by QIMA chemical management specialists to help glove suppliers, brands and retailers improve chemical management in their supply chain and implement step-by-step corrective action in their production practices.
In addition to providing your consumers with assurance that your gloves are safe and sustainable, the SafeGlove/SafeGlove+ program directly contributes to better chemical management knowledge and skills in the accessories and leather goods industry, through targeted workshops and supplier training.
